An Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell is a specialized unit within an organization, educational institution, or governmental body dedicated to managing, protecting, and promoting intellectual property (IP) rights.

The primary focus of an IPR Cell is to ensure that the creations and innovations of individuals and entities are legally protected and that their rights are upheld.

Objectives

Provide expertise and support for IP protection, enforcement, and commercialization.
Facilitate the development of IP policies, laws, and regulations.
Collaborate with national and international organizations to promote IPR best practices.
Support research, innovation, and entrepreneurship through IP protection and promotion.
Provide training and capacity-building programs for Students.
Encourage ethical practices and respect for IPR among students and organizations.
